Online Therapy

Online therapy differs from traditional in-person therapy as it takes place over the internet, allowing you to stay in your own comfortable and familiar surroundings.

This is especially useful in situations where you:

  • Travel frequently for work

  • Are confined to your home due to illness or other circumstances, such as a global pandemic or the like

  • Live in an area far from professional and qualified psychotherapists

I use Zoom, a popular video conferencing platform that makes it easy to hold online meetings, workshops, and sessions with people from all over the world. Zoom also allows me to share slides with you on my screen and even record our sessions for supervision purposes. It’s a flexible solution that can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and works the same way as if we were sitting in the same room.

Communication via Zoom is encrypted and automatically decrypted, ensuring that all our communication remains confidential.

When participating in a video-based therapy session, I recommend that you create a private space free from distractions and with a fast internet connection. You can also use a headset to enhance privacy.

Sessions can be as few or as many as you need. You always have the option to cancel an appointment (in accordance with my cancellation policy) or request a new one. Consultations are confidential, and you can freely talk about anything that is on your mind.

If you’re unsure whether video-based therapy is the right choice for you, feel free to contact me for more information.
